Bogus official warnings

Reports have been received by Preston Police that in the last couple of days a man has been in the Fulwood area knocking on residents premises claiming to work for Preston Care and Repair.

Please be aware of this and remember that official organisations should always make an appointment with you before they come to your property. Please also note that care and repair staff have an official uniform. 

If you are suspicious of the behaviour of anyone around your property or someone calls at your home claiming to be from an official organisation and you have any doubts, please ring Preston Police with the details on 01772 203203.


Bogus official update

Please be aware that there have been a number of bogus official incidents reported to Preston Police in the last two weeks. Remember to always ask callers to your home for identification and if you are in any doubt about the authenticity of their identity do not let them into your home.
