Data protection scam

Also please be aware that a similar scam involving Data Protection has been reported. Most companies are required to be registered with the Information Commissioner for data protection purposes and the charge is approximately £35. 

Businesses claiming to be from the Data Protection Registrar stating that unless a form is filled in and a cheque paid for £135 then the firm will be fined.
